For some, the power and strength of a full-bodied rum may be a bit too much. This “problem” has existed since rum was first produced.
Knowing that a proven solution was the addition of cream, a privilege of the wealthiest residents of the island of Saint Thomas in the Danish West Indies and the home of AH Riise rum, we went further.
The result is AH Riise Rum Caramel Cream Liqueur, a slightly sweeter alternative to our full-bodied rums.AH
Riise rums have a long and historic connection with the sea and maritime life. To balance the sweetness of the crème de caramel with the richness of the rum, a small amount of sea salt has been added.
The liqueur's caramel is made according to ancient confectionery traditions, offering a different taste of the old days, while the cream comes from the milk of free-range cows grazing the green meadows in the heart of bucolic rural Ireland.
